GATESHEAD clinched only their third top-eight finish in the Conference National with a 3-0 final-day win over AFC Telford United at the International Stadium.

Second-half goals from Liam Hatch, Josh Gillies and Kris Gate saw The Heed home after a sixth straight clean sheet at the International Stadium.

Matters now turn to off the pitch, where restructuring will see 10 YTS apprentices taken on board for the first time.
