SLOVAK gas utility Slovensky plynarensky priemysel (SPP) will file a lawsuit against the Slovak Republic after the state regulator ordered the gas distributor to lower the price of gas by over 5 percent in March 2012, the TASR newswire reported.

After the March general election SPP management, including members of the SPP board of directors nominated by Freedom and Solidarity (SaS), decided to launch the legal action.
