27 April 2012 - US industrial manufacturer Standex International Corp (NYSE:SXI) unveiled plans to exercise an option to take 20% in Italian professional cooking equipment maker Giorik SpA, as part of a strategy to expand in the global foodservice equipment industry. Standex said it had completed due diligence on the deal which it hopes to wrap up in the near future. It did not disclose financial details.
