Neptune's Wintle steps down from Latin American fund.

Thomas Smith was appointed as a co-manager on the GBP35m Neptune Latin America fund in August last year. Wintle stepped down from the mandate on January 1, leaving Smith to be sole manager of the fund.

This will leave Wintle to manage the GBP469m Neptune US Opportunities fund and the GBP6m Neptune US Max Alpha. Smith is also assistant manager on the GBP35m Neptune Emerging Markets fund and responsible for global sector research on the chemicals and utilities sectors.
