Reading "Into the Deep" [January], I was intrigued by the ways that Rooney Mara prepared for the role of Lisbeth Salander in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo . Her commitment to capturing the essence of such a complicated character is fascinating, especially when comparing her intense gothic makeup and wardrobe in the film to how soft and glamorous she looked in the allure photo shoot! She exudes a confident but also mysterious vibe. I believe this is what draws fans to her, and I look forward to seeing her in more leading roles in the future.
