Anchorperson Anita Raja begins the discussion by talking about the tussle between Pakistan and India on Siachen: "The issue of Siachen is prevailing between the two countries since 1984. Around 5,000 Indian soldiers and 3,000 Pakistani soldiers have been killed in Siachen." She asks [retired] Lieutenant General Talat Masood to comment on the issue.

Masood says: "The dispute over Siachen can be resolved if the political leadership of Pakistan and India are willing to do so.
