THE Deputy Prime Minister was due in Swansea today as campaigning for next month's council elections gets into gear. Nick Clegg was visiting a holiday play scheme for children at Oystermouth Primary School in Mumbles along with Swansea Council leader Chris Holley, councillor and AM Peter Black, and Welsh Lib Dem leader Kirsty Williams.

Swansea Council is currently run by a Lib Dem and independents coalition -- and is high on the list of local authorities the Labour party is aiming to capture on May 3. Council leader Mr Holley said he was pleased the Deputy PM was coming to town.
