The 22-kilometer Kartasura-Kebakkramat toll road, which will integrate the Surakarta (Central Java)-Kertosono (East Java) toll road, is projected to be completed in 2014.

Work is currently entering the land procurement phase.

The local administration will acquire 2.3 hectares and deal with 50 landowners in the Surakarta area. Surakarta is one of the three regencies and mayoralties in Central Java intersecting the Trans Java mega toll road project built by the Public Works Ministry.

Two regencies in Central Java that intersect the toll road are the Boyolali and Karanganyar regencies.
