1. Clarion Hotel & Congress Trondheim, Norway

This class A energy-rated building, which opens at the end of the month, features a gold-coloured copper star on the roof. The 400-room hotel, which has a large terrace on the ninth floor (Skybar), is located next to the Pirbadet water park and the Rockheim pop and rock museum. It includes a restaurant, a 1,400m2 multifunction arena and a 1,030m2 foyer and exhibition area. Elsewhere, 20 meeting rooms, a living room and a ballroom are available to hire, making the total event space 31,500m2.
