Pekanbaru, Riau, March 3 (ANTARA) - An aftershock could strike Riau province due to a fracture at the base of Earth's plates, according to an analyst at the Pekanbaru Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency.
"The earthquake might still hit Riau in the next few weeks," said the agency's analyst, Ardhitama, here on Saturday.
According to Ardhitama, the earthquake's potential cannot be detected with certainty and might occur several times a day in the Riau Province region.
