1. 0121 A campaign to plant trees and saplings started in Fariab Province with the beginning of a new year. Provincial officials have planted a number of trees in Dawlatabad District and also urged people to take part in the drive. While planting trees in Dawlatabad District, the provincial governor told Radio Tamana that some 200,000 trees will be planted in Fariab this year and they received the aid from the Fariab administration. He also said that the project, which is worth 200,000 dollars, is funded by the Norwegian Embassy.
