DELL marked its entry into the ultrabook market with the launch of the Dell XPS 13 last week.
Weighing just 1.36kg, the slim and sleek 13.3-inch notebook comes in two configurations - Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors with 128GB solid state drives (SSD) and 256GB respectively.
The new XPS 13 is also one of the first systems to feature Intel's Smart Connect technology, which keeps content like email consistently updated.
It has a boot time of just eight seconds and an operating battery life of up to eight hours. To make it more durable, the notebook uses Corning Gorilla glass for its screen and carbon fibre base for a cooler computing experience.
Dell is also collaborating with mobile Internet service provider Yes to offer a promotional Internet package worth RM207 for the first 1,000 buyers of XPS 13. The ultrabook is available now at RM3,499 for the Intel i5 processor and RM4,899 for the Intel i7.
