They can't agree Q. What can be done to resolve a situation where there are two executors and trustees who are jointly responsible for the implementation of a will and they disagree on its interpretation? Probate is required, and the estate is likely to be just over GBP100,000.

A. If neither of the two executors is a solicitor the next logical step would appear to be to make an appointment to see a specialist in wills and probate matters. But if no agreement can be reached the will may have to go to court for a determination, since executors must act unanimously.
