March 14--A new crop of athletes works out at Kinetic Fitness twice a week. They slam balls, swing kettlebells, speed through agility ladders, flex with TRX and perform burpees -- jumping up in between push-ups. And none of them is older than 16. Members of the Team Sports Conditioning: KIDS program said they have already gained strength and endurance through the workouts. "I can run a lot faster than I used to be able to," said 12-year-old Emma Halstead, a soccer player from Duluth. Chloe Kintop, 10, said her vertical jump has gotten higher on the basketball court.
