Food stalls, villas help police in security.

Three food stalls in the northern part of Kuta have doubled their function, becoming "safety shops" where visitors and locals whose safety is threatened can ask shopkeepers to contact the police.

The stalls are Bale Dahar at Jl. Raya Petitenget No. 8 X, Batubelig, Kerobokan; Pesinggahan at Jl. Raya Dalung, Abianbase, Dalung; and Pande at Jl. Tengah No. 38, Kerobokan.

Bale Dahar, which is located near Petitenget Beach, for instance, will provide assistance to visitors in distress by making a call to police officers at North Kuta precinct, which is 3 kilometers away.
