The Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has admitted that his manager, Roberto Mancini, was right to tell him to grow up, but insists he is just "a normal guy".

Balotelli, talking to the musician and City fan Noel Gallagher for a BBC interview, has been involved in a string of controversial incidents since joining the club in August 2010. Most recently, he was fined after breaking a club curfew ahead of City's 2-0 win over Bolton.
