Red Hour Films captures 'Flamingo Thief'.(Will Ferrell)(Brief article)

Will Ferrell is attached to star in Red Hour Films' "Flamingo Thief," which Michael LeSieur ("You, Me and Dupree") will adapt from the novel by Susan Trott.

Ferrell will star as Tim Forrester, a lawyer who becomes obsessed with stealing figurines of flamingos after his wife leaves him.

Red Hour principals Ben Stiller and Stuart Comfeld will produce, while Aaron Kaplan and Sean Perrone of Kaplan/Perrone Entertainment will exec produce with Erica Steinberg, who brought the project into Red Hour. No director is attached yet, but the producers have commenced their search.
