Ellon president Colin Tennant believes his club is going to face a difficult time adjusting to life in the new-look Caledonian League next season.

Scottish club rugby will be restructured this summer and Ellon's failure to make the top four of National 1 means they will join the regional set-up for the 2012-13 campaign.

Tennant admits adjusting to life back in the regional ranks will provide new challenges for the club.

He said: 'By not making the top four there will be ramifications for the club.
