I REFER to the letter "What's important is to keep it simple", by Samuel Yesuiah last Sunday. I find the topic selected by the writer an interesting one, as the name of a person is one of the few things that will stick with him or her for life.

Although some people have tried to change their names upon reaching adulthood, it is usually difficult to do so.

Yes, a name should be easy to pronounce, but it should also have a good meaning and be easy to spell and write. Parents should not think it is a waste of time to choose a proper name for their son or daughter.
