Prague, Feb 23 (CTK) - The last soldiers of the 8th contingent guarding the civilian experts of the Czech provincial reconstruction team (PRT) in the Afghan Logar province returned to Prague today. These troops were deployed in Afghanistan from last August till early February when they were replaced by the 9th contingent. The 8th contingent, formed mostly by members of the 53rd reconnaissance brigade and the 102nd reconnaissance battalion from Prostejov, south Moravia, guarded Czech experts, cooperated with local authorities and trained Afghan armed forces.
