ENERGY giant Drax has confirmed it is continuing to look at making a huge biomass-fired power plant at Immingham viable, after binning a proposal for a similar venture at Selby.

Hard lobbying to maintain the level of Government subsidy and opening up the GBP700 million project to potential financial partners have been unveiled as core strategies as the company seeks to significantly expand its renewable capacity.
