The Third District Military Court in the Moscow Oblast has sentenced Lieutenant Colonel Vladimir Nesterets to 13 years in prison. He was convicted for the transfer of information about tests of Russian strategic combat missile complexes to the Central Intelligence Agency of the United States. According to information from Kommersant, the officer on trial negotiated a pre-trial agreement of cooperation and it was for this reason alone that he was able to avoid a more imposing term.
