Washington: Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu held several meetings at US Congress in Washington on Thursday.

Davutoglu discussed Turkish-US relations, Syria, Iraq, Iran's nuclear programme, Arab Spring, Caucasus and Balkans during his talks.

Davutoglu also conveyed Turkey's expectations from the US in fight against terrorism.

During his stay in Washington, Davutoglu continued his telephone diplomacy on Syria issue.

Davutoglu discussed Syria on the phone with EU high representative Foreign Affairs Catherine Ashton who invited him to the upcoming meeting of EU Foreign Affairs …
