KUALA LUMPUR: TWO Pas leaders have expressed displeasure with opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's "I support all efforts to protect the security of the state of Israel" remarks in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.

"It is our job to be with those who are oppressed and not the oppressor, which in this case is Israel," said Pas Dewan Ulama vice-chief Datuk Dr Mahfodz Mohamed yesterday, when contacted by the New Straits Times.
