31 January 2012 - Air Liquide Large Industries U.S. LP, part of French industrial gases supplier Air Liquide (EPA:AI), said it had taken over the Air Separation Unit (ASU) of US chemicals group Georgia Gulf Corporation (NYSE:GGC) in Plaquemine, Louisiana. The business, engaged in the production of oxygen, nitrogen and argon, is connected with Air Liquide's gas production facilities in Plaquemine through a pipeline.
