Gujranwala: Hafiz Hussain Ahmad and Maulana Fazl-ur Rahman on Sunday [28 January] supported a demand for early elections in the country, adding that polls should be held in a fair and transparent manner. They were addressing a public meeting here on Sunday.

Quoting the chief justice of Pakistan, Hafiz Hussain said 35m registered voters were bogus in the country. He said bogus voters should be struck off from voters' lists. A resolution regarding creation of new provinces was also passed in the meeting. …
