Michael McFaul, the new US ambassador to Moscow, has gotten down to work, making visits to Russian officials and setting up a meeting at the Embassy with politicians and figures from civil society, in particular representatives of the CPRF [Communist Party of the Russian Federation], Just Russia, and the Yabloko and unregistered PARNAS [People's Freedom Party] parties.
