The attention of the Ghana Bar Association has been drawn to an opinion/comment published by a newspaper called The Informer, titled "MARTIN AMIDU IS A BIG ALBATROSS!!!" and published widely on the internet on 4th January 2012.

In that article, the writer demands the removal of Mr. Martin Amidu, the Honourable Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, on numerous grounds, including the claim that he has sabotaged the government by retaining in the Attorney-General's Department, three lady lawyers who are related or married to 'opposition' politicians.
