Jan. 03--There are few new candidates in the upcoming elections for Superior City Council and the Douglas County Board.

However, four new candidates have thrown their hat in the ring for the Superior School Board, where two incumbents are stepping down following the April 3 election.

Incumbent Len Albrecht is the only school board member seeking re-election; he'll have to be among the top three vote getters in April to hold onto his seat when Jonathan Asp, Adam Bennis, Robert Morehouse and Curt Vanderstelt face off for one of the three open seats on the board.
