Huge crowd at iPhone 4S launch.
KUALA LUMPUR: Many braved traffic yesterday to witness the launch of the eagerly anticipated iPhone 4S by Maxis Bhd, Malaysia's integrated communications provider.
At the stroke of midnight, Maxis unveiled the device to customers at a launch event at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
Concurrently, Maxis introduced the iPhone 4S in Johor Baru, Penang, Kuantan, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching.
The smartphone will be available starting today at all Maxis Centres and Maxis Exclusive Partners nationwide.
Maxis chief executive officer Sandip Das said: "Having an iPhone is one thing, but to experience it on Maxis is something else.
