Budaka Boss Blames Border Fights On Land Commission.

The current border conflict between Mbale and Budaka districts is being fueled by the Uganda Land Commission, which altered the original maps, Budaka District chairperson Arthur Mboizi has said.

"The land department has to take the blame for this border mess because they have fraudulently altered the genuine maps. This is subject to investigations and those involved should face the law," Mr Mboizi said.

The demarcation of Namatala Wetland was slated to start next February but has suffered a set back as Budaka leaders await a response to a petition to the Lands Minister to halt the process until an amicable agreement has been …
