Jakarta, Dec 2 (ANTARA) - Dengue fever, an acute infectious disease caused by a virus transmitted by Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes, is feared to continue to prevail during the rainy season until January to February 202.

Therefore the people across Indonesia should give serious anticipation to the outbreak of the disease, characterized by sudden onset, headache, racking joint pain, and a rash.

Unless the people start to clean up the breeding grounds of the mosquitoes that carry the dengue virus, the disease will undeniably continue to hit part of the country.

To anticipate a possible outbreak of dengue fever, the people must immediately improve the quality of their environments by destroyingthe breeding grounds of the Aedes aegypti mosquito.
