NRD to sort out 'Siamese' woes.

ALOR STAR: Speedy MyKad and passport database update is assured for Malaysian Siamese who have their race status given as "Thai" and not "Siamese", Home Ministry secretary-general Tan Sri Mahmood Adam said yesterday.

He said those facing this problem could make the change at the nearest National Registration Department offices to avoid further confusion pertaining to their race and citizenship.
