Inflation Details Justify TUC's Demand for 20 Percent Salary Increase.

The details of the new inflation figure as explained by Dr. Grace Bediako, Government Statistician, without doubt justifies the Ghana Trades Union Congress' demand for government to implement the 20 percent salary increase across aboard in the public sector without further delay as a result of harsh conditions workers are going through.
The figure showed an increase from 8.40% in September 2011 to 8.56% in October 2011 because of the rise in general price level of food and non-alcoholic beverage group.
