Outstanding state workers to be feted

THE GOVERNMENT will give recognition to exemplary members of its ranks at the Awards Rites for the 2011 Outstanding Public Officials and Employees to be held on Nov. 9 at the Rizal Hall, Malacanan Palace.

Executive Secretary Paquito N. Ochoa, representing President Benigno S. C. Aquino III, will lead the rites to be assisted by Civil Service Commission (CSC) Chair Francisco T. Duque III.

The CSC conducts the awards rites annually as part of the Honor Awards Program (HAP) that aims to motivate and inspire civil servants to improve the quality of their performance and instill deeper involvement in public service.
