Mr Singh Katongole, whose election as Rubaga North MP was nullified by the High Court last week, has said he is still a legislator until the highest court proves otherwise.

The High Court in Kampala declared Moses Kasibante the legally elected MP for Rubaga North and ordered Mr Katongole to vacate the seat immediately. Presiding judge Vincent Kibuuka Musoke ordered the exit of Mr Katongole, saying his declaration as winner was based on results of an illegal vote recount at the Mengo Magistrate's Court.
