Cairo, 30 October: Chinese Middle East envoy Wu Sike said here Sunday that the national and people's interests should be put first while the legitimate demands of the Syrian people are respected regarding the solution to the Syrian crisis.

At a press conference after meeting with Egypt's Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs Mostafa Kamel, Wu said all sides in Syria should participate in its political process.
