Korean mobile operator SK Telecom saw its net income for the third quarter fall 18.5 percent to KRW 384 billion from KRW 471 in the third quarter last year. Operating revenues, however, rose 1.9 percent to KRW 4.07 trillion on contributions from smartphone usage. Mobile service revenues fell 1.1 percent on tariff cuts to KRW 2.71 trillion.
