- Nike runs with Ellie

Nike has rolled out an online video featuring pop singer Ellie Goulding training for 'Run To the Beat', the London music industry half-marathon, which took place on 25 September. The 'Music runs Ellie' film was created by digital agency AKQA.

- RBS' movie rewards

RBS is aiming to build consumer trust with a customer-reward initiative, offering current-account-holders free tickets to movies before they go on general release. DreamWorks Pictures' The Help is the first movie featured in the Film First scheme, which is open to NatWest and RBS customers.

- Brand award deadline

The deadline for nominations for The Marketing Society's Brand of the Year 2011 award has been extended to 5pm on Friday 28 October. Readers are invited to nominate their favourite brand ahead of the society's annual dinner on 29 November. Guests will vote on the night to decide a winner. …
