Queues have been in the news recently. A couple of weeks ago it was announced that a survey of more than 2,000 adults showed that people lost their patience after six minutes waiting in a queue either holding on to the telephone or at a supermarket checkout, 11 minutes waiting for public transport and 13 minutes waiting to be served in a restaurant.
