Thailand - Mobile operators prepared for flooding in Bangkok.

Thai mobile operators and broadband service providers are confident that their backup plans and recovery operations will cope with possible flooding in Bangkok. Floods have swept across 60 of Thailand's 77 provinces over the past two months and are threatening the capital. Mobile operator Advanced Info Service (AIS) has established a flood protection team to monitor the situation while DTAC said it is not concerned about network disruptions due to the company's strong capacity in the capital city.
