Australian ISPs Internode, iiNet, and Adam Internet argue they should also be compensated for infrastructure that will become obsolete with the National Broadband Network (NBN) roll out, ZDNet Australia writes. Telstra is in talks with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) on its structural separation undertaking. Once it clears this hurdle and its shareholders approve deal with the government, the company will decommission its copper network and move customers to the NBN under a AUD 11 billion deal.
