HULL City winger Richard Garcia is on course to make his long-awaited return from injury next month - and then be rewarded with talks on a new deal at the KC Stadium.

The Australian international has endured a nightmare spell on the sidelines after suffering cruciate ligament damage in the closing weeks of last season.

The cruel timing of the injury threatened to leave Garcia in a state of limbo when his contract expired in July only for the Tigers to stand by the 30-year-old with a short-term agreement until November.
