JASON Hobson saw his move from Wasps back to Bristol earlier this year as anything but a step down. Now, he wants to prove it by helping to bring Aviva Premiership rugby back to the Memorial Stadium.

The 28-year-old prop left Bristol for Wasps after the club's relegation from the top flight in 2009 - but, after 18 injury-ravaged months in High Wycombe, he returned to the place where he made his name.

Now Hobson, injury-free again after overcoming the kind of problems that would have finished some players, is thinking once more - but not getting carried away - about the Premiership. …
