ROSS Houston will attempt to become only the second Scot to win the men's title in the Loch Ness Marathon which celebrates its 10th anniversary in Inverness on Sunday.
Morayshire's former world 100K champion Simon Pride won in 2004 and 2005, but the race has otherwise been dominated by runners from much farther afield. Kenyan athletes have won on five occasions and Ethiopia-born Briton Tomas Abyu has lifted the other two titles.
