Photon Light Control LLC (PLC), a New York company, is being set up to develop and commercialise a sophisticated approach to security holograms which it calls M-Secure [TM]. This was invented by Ronald R Erickson, Joel Bock and Eliezer Sandler. A proof-of-concept has been developed and the company is now seeking funds and/or partnerships to produce a working laboratory version of the M-Secure system, and then to apply and test it in real-world conditions.

M-Secure combines encoded data, layered holographic recording and an encoded reader to achieve what PLC describes as new levels of security in a holographic or optical system which can be used to include unique data, such as personal, specific or serialised information.
