Sept. 13--The Union College football team, traditionally a model of success in Division III, is going through a stretch of futility not seen in the program since Dwight Eisenhower was president. The Dutchmen have lost eight in a row dating to last season, their longest period without a victory since a 19-game winless streak (that included a tie) from 1957 to 1960. "Folks take winning for granted, especially in football, around here," Union head coach John Audino said Monday. "We need to get back on track." Audino, in his 20th year at Union, had his first losing record last year when the Dutchmen dropped their final six games to finish at 2-7. …
