Sept. 12--PANAMA CITY BEACH -- Tentative regulations affecting areas deemed critical to Naval Support Activity Panama City moved forward at last week's County Commission meeting. The changes are part of the implementation of a Joint Land Use Study completed in 2009 to ensure compatibility between the mission of the base and the operations of the county. The changes approved by commissioners and forwarded to the state Department of Community Affairs requires all existing and future commercial and industrial development inside the frequency military influence area to register with planning and zoning to prevent signal interference and imposes a …
