Sept. 11--TYNDALL AFB -- Sept. 11, 2011 dawned with weather nearly identical to the same day a decade ago. That fact did not escape speakers at First Air Force Northern's Sept. 11 memorial at Tyndall Air Force Base. But instead of the still of the morning being shattered by passenger planes flying into iconic American structures -- the World Trade Center and the Pentagon -- it was broken only by the chime of a bell that called attendees to a moment of silence to remember the moments of impact during the terrorist attack.
