Sept. 11--KERSEY -- There seemingly wasn't a ball that Platte Valley's fielders couldn't get to for most of the Broncos' softball game against Holy Family on Saturday. The Tigers just had to keep testing Platte Valley until finally a couple hits squeezed through. Holy Family junior third baseman Caitlyn Krenz poked the winning RBI into left field to top the Broncos 3-2 in a back-and-forth nine-inning nonleague game between two of the top teams in Class 3A.
